"The Abundance of the Free Favour of the Lord." Luke 4:18-19
Hi Visitor,
One of the greatest weapons against doubt is your memory. Psalm 77:11 declares, "I will remember the works of the Lord: surely I will remember thy wonders of old." When doubt attacks, your history with God becomes your anchor. What He did before, He can do again. Forgetfulness feeds fear. Remembrance feeds faith.
In difficult seasons, it is easy to forget answered prayers, past breakthroughs, and quiet miracles. But if you pause and recall, you will realise you have seen God move before. You did not make it this far on your own. He carried you, opened doors, healed wounds, and provided when there was no way. That history is not just nostalgia—it is fuel for your current fight.
Keep a record of God's faithfulness. Rehearse it. Speak it. Thank Him for it. When doubt tries to tell you it is over, your memory will say, "He did it then, He will do it now." Your testimony is your evidence. Use it.
Think of a moment when you thought you would not make it, but you did. That was not a coincidence. That was divine help. Let that moment speak louder than your current worry. If He showed up, then He would not have changed now.
Throughout scripture, God instructed His people to remember. Stones were set as memorials, Psalms were written to reflect His deeds, and testimonies were passed down through generations. Why? Because memory keeps faith alive. Make remembrance your habit, not your emergency plan.
Write down three things God has done for you in the past, moments of breakthrough, provision, or peace. Reflect on them today. Let each one silence a current doubt. If He did it before, He will do it again
"Your memory is your defence. When doubt rises, remind yourself of what God already brought you through."
May God bless your heart with a clear remembrance of His faithfulness. May every memory of deliverance, provision, and comfort become your weapon against fear. Let gratitude rise, and let your history with Him restore your confidence for the future. In Jesus' name, Amen.
