The Sure Word for Today

Day 1: Time Is Life’s Greatest Asset

Time is the currency of life. Once spent, it can never be reclaimed. Ephesians 5:16 urges, “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Every second is a divine gift, entrusted to you to be used wisely and purposefully. When you understand the value of time, you begin to live with intention and clarity.

Jesus lived only thirty-three years on earth, yet His impact remains eternal. His secret was not in length but in purpose. Every moment He spent was aligned with the will of the Father. In the same way, your life gains meaning when you use time as a tool for growth, purpose, and service.

Today, reflect on how you invest your time. Every decision, delay, or distraction shapes your destiny. Make every moment count, for time well-used is life well-lived.

Connect: Your Challenge and Response

Your challenge may be wasting time on distractions or habits that add no value. Your response must be to take responsibility for your moments, using them intentionally to create meaning and impact.

Extend: Faith in Action

Start today by writing down three activities that waste your time. Replace them with actions that align with your purpose—prayer, study, planning, or service.

Reflection And Application

Reflect on how you spend your time each day. What changes can you make to ensure your time serves your calling and not just your comfort?
