Day 2: Grace in the Struggle

Struggles often highlight what your strength cannot carry, but they also reveal where God’s grace begins to work. Second Corinthians 12:9 declares, “My grace is sufficient for thee.” Grace is not simply favour; it is divine empowerment that appears when your strength reaches its limit. In every struggle, grace stands ready to lift, restore, and sustain you. When life feels overwhelming, grace becomes the quiet force that keeps you moving.

Hannah’s sorrow over her barrenness pushed her into a deeper encounter with God. She had no strength left, yet grace met her in her tears and transformed her story. David wrote some of his greatest psalms in seasons of distress, not comfort. Their struggles did not define them; grace did. Grace turns breaking points into breakthroughs.

Today, see your struggle through the lens of grace. Where you feel weakest, God’s power is working hardest.

Connect: Your Challenge and Response

You may feel worn down or stretched thin, unsure how to take your next step. The right response is to rely on grace that carries you when effort is no longer enough. Grace strengthens what human strength cannot touch.

Extend: Faith in Action

Bring one current struggle before God. Ask Him for sufficient grace for today, and trust that He will supply what your strength cannot provide.

Reflection And Application
