Day 3: Speak and Act
Love becomes stronger when words and actions agree. In marriage, kind words are important, but they must be supported by consistent behaviour. Saying “I love you” while ignoring needs, breaking promises, or refusing responsibility creates confusion. Love in deed and truth means your speech and conduct must carry the same message.
A spouse should not have to choose between hearing love and experiencing love. Both matter. Words can comfort, affirm, and reassure, but actions prove sincerity. When you apologise, change the behaviour. When you promise support, show up. When you say you care, pay attention. When you say your spouse matters, make decisions that reflect honour. Consistency builds trust because it shows that love is not only spoken, but practised.
Today, examine the gap between your words and actions. Do not condemn yourself. Correct what needs correction. Choose one loving statement and back it with one loving action. Send the message and do the task. Offer the apology and make the adjustment. Speak the encouragement and show the support. Love becomes credible when it is expressed clearly and confirmed through action.
