Day 5: Protect Your Focus
Focus must be protected because purpose cannot grow where attention is constantly divided. Many people have vision, plans, and good intentions, but their attention is scattered. They start meaningful work, then drift into interruptions, unnecessary conversations, notifications, worries, or activities that do not serve their assignment. When focus is weak, time loses strength.
Protecting your focus means guarding what deserves your best energy. You cannot give everything equal attention and still move with purpose. Some things must wait. Some voices must be limited. Some habits must be corrected. Some commitments must be reviewed. Wisdom teaches you to recognise what matters most and give it your full attention at the right time.
Today, choose to protect your focus with one clear boundary. Decide what task needs your best concentration and remove what usually interrupts it. Put your phone aside. Close unnecessary tabs. Reduce noise. Set a time limit. Pray before you begin. Focus is not only a productivity habit. It is a stewardship decision. When you protect your focus, you honour your time, strengthen your discipline, and give purpose room to produce fruit.
