When to Seek Help. Part 2

The Sure Word Devotion
Day 2: Do Not Wait
Waiting too long to seek help can turn a manageable struggle into a deeper crisis. When pressure begins to affect your thoughts, emotions, sleep, appetite, relationships, or daily responsibilities, wisdom says act early. Help is not only for emergencies. Help is also for prevention, clarity, support, and recovery. The earlier you speak, the more options you have.

Many people wait because they hope the issue will disappear. Others wait because they fear judgement or do not want to burden anyone. But silence can make distress heavier. When you delay, your mind may become more tired, your emotions more unstable, and your choices less clear. Wise counsel brings safety because it helps you see what you may not see alone.

Today, refuse delay. If something has been troubling you repeatedly, take one step towards support. Speak to a trusted person, book an appointment, ask for prayer, or contact a support service if needed. Do not wait for collapse before you move. Early help protects peace, reduces risk, and gives healing a stronger foundation.
