Day 4: Give Attention
Attention is one of the ways love becomes visible. In marriage, your spouse can be physically near but emotionally ignored. You can speak daily and still miss what they are feeling. Love in deed and truth means you do not only claim care. You give focused attention that proves your spouse matters to you.
Distraction weakens connection slowly. Phones, work, stress, children, ministry, business, and daily responsibilities can fill the space where attention should live. When attention disappears, affection can feel uncertain and distance can grow quietly. Giving attention does not always require long hours. It requires presence. Look properly. Listen fully. Notice changes. Ask questions. Remember what matters. These small actions tell your spouse, “I see you. I value you. I am still here with you.”
Today, give your spouse undivided attention in one clear moment. Put distractions away. Ask how they are doing and listen without rushing. Notice something they have carried, achieved, or endured. Give appreciation that is specific and sincere. Attention is not a small thing. It is love made visible through presence, focus, and care.

Let Us Pray
